In this role, she is primarily responsible for underwriting affordable housing loans financed under all product lines. She is located in Newark, NJ. Dawn has over twenty years experience in affordable and commercial real estate finance including new business development, mortgage underwriting and origination, portfolio management and workouts. Dawn began her career with New York Life and Home Life Insurance Companies where she gained significant experience in workouts, underwriting and originations prior to joining Freddie Mac as a Manager of Production and Product Development. At Freddie Mac Dawn was responsible for the origination, negotiation and closing of multifamily loans and developing affordable housing initiatives. She also performed Real Estate Consultant work with Hamilton, Rabinovitz & Alschuler in New York on specialized underwriting assignments, staff training and the development of underwriting guidelines for the NYSHFA and other financial institutions. Prior to joining PMCC, she was a Senior Underwriter with HUD’s Mark-to-Market program responsible for complex debt restructurings with tax credits, IRP funds and other forms of hard and soft debt. Dawn earned her Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Economics from Fordham University and her MBA with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from Rutgers University.
