In this role, he is an FHA Production Manager for the Western US overseeing all FHA loan production in Seattle and Los Angeles production offices. Prior to joining Prudential Huntoon Paige, John accumulated 26 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). At the time of his departure from HUD, he was Chief of HUD's Washington State Multifamily Production Branch. During 1997, in addition to his regional duties, he was on special assignment to HUD's Multifamily Reengineering Task Force which was responsible for designing new processing procedures for FHA field offices nationwide. During his tenure at HUD, John was noted for several significant innovations in the industry. He developed the first Fast Track processing option for refinanced project loans and created the Small Projects Pilot Program (now referred to as SPP). John holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Oregon State University. He lives in Seattle with his wife, Karen, and daughter, Kirstine.
