He is responsible for originating loans for multifamily housing developments, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and hospitals throughout the Northeast Region. Prior to joining Prudential, John was President of Charles River Mortgage Company, an FHA approved mortgage lender and Multifamily Accelerated Processing Underwriter in Boston, for 23 years. He had served as a Senior VP and General Counsel with a Boston based financial corporation and as an attorney with a Boston law firm prior to forming Charles River. He began his FHA related career and served with the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington for seven years. John holds a JD degree from The Catholic University School of Law, an MA from the University of Maryland and a BA from Yale University.
