Daniel is a Director with Prudential Huntoon Paige. In this role he specializes in affordable housing loan programs including credit enhancement of fixed- and variable-rate tax-exempt bonds, taxable loans, forward commitments for new construction and substantial rehab, refinances, subordinate debt, bridge/interim loans and mezzanine financing. He is located in Newark, New Jersey.
Prior to joining Prudential, Daniel was an Expert Consultant for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where his expertise was utilized to troubleshoot problem projects and portfolios. Daniel supervised dozens of workouts for thousands of apartments and new debt in the millions of dollars. He has also worked for the City of New York developing affordable moderate and middle-income housing, and rehabilitated housing using Low Income Housing Tax Credits as a non-profit executive. He brings over a decade of experience in multifamily workouts and closings with a proven record in writing legal documents and negotiating with governmental, non-profit and corporate entities.
Daniel holds a JD from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC, a MA from Teachers College, and a B.A. from Columbia College, both of Columbia University, New York, NY.
